Condiments make the world go 'round! (that is how we feel at least...) The Learning Kitchen is now teaching classes on how to make one of the most used, but overlooked pantry staples: condiments!
The Learning Kitchen offers hands-on classes geared to the home cook. Their mission is to bring together all generations for the purpose of learning and sharing wonderful traditions including canning, fermenting, bread baking, and more.
This time around for The Learning Kitchen’s “What’s in Your Pantry?” series, Lyn is introducing her condiments class. There are so many wonderful products you can make (EASILY!) at home, have in your pantry, all while avoiding the additives! The class includes Mustards, Ketchups (including a Kicky Ketchup), Mayonnaise (with and without eggs). Our favorite without a doubt though is the vinaigrette made from Pickled Cherry Tomatoes, which is a great addition to any salad.
