That New-Old-School: Dinner and Cocktails at The Cloakroom Kitchen & Bar
If you needed an excuse to visit Downtown Atlanta: The Cloakroom now has a newly unveiled menu! And it involves so much delish’ goodness. Consider this your official invitation to try a little something new—plus cocktails from an all star mixologist
What To Expect
- 2 hand-crafted cocktails (we’re partial to the Felix Leiter, a classic Old Fashioned with Michters bourbon, orange peel, and bitters.)
- 2 entrées from the newly debuted menu
When it comes to Downtown, a neighborhood far too often left off the list of Atlanta foodie destinations, fine dining has been thought of as hard to come by in years past. But fear not, one restaurant has managed to whittle its way into our hearts as the place for an inspired, delicious and wholly unique meal… that doesn't cost a second mortgage. That’d be The Cloakroom Kitchen & Bar inside The American Hotel, whose kitchen expertly balances creativity and approachability. Simply put, this is cuisine made with the neighborhood in mind: refined and contemporary, yet utterly accessible. (Translation: no science experiments on your plate.) And if you haven't yet tasted the new creations from The Cloakroom, who's spent the past few months reworking and refining nearly the entire menu, you no longer need to look for an excuse to pay this Downtown eatery another visit.
In the words of The Cloakroom, “Sit back and indulge in classic craft cocktails and elevated bar bites with images of the Rat Pack and other celebs from the glory days adorning the walls. Located in the heart of the Centennial Park District, The Cloakroom Kitchen & Bar is a great place to enjoy dinner and a drink before or after the game. We are a short walk to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Philips Arena, and located across the street from the Tabernacle.”
Ah, yes, and how could we forget? The Cloakroom is serving some of the best cocktails in Atlanta! We tend to swoon over the charms of the Felix Leiter, a classic Old Fashioned with Michters bourbon, orange peel, and 18:21 bitters. But chances are, whether it's a cocktail or an UNCLE 8 oz steak, anything The Cloakroom serves up will slake your thirst for something a little different—hence why we love it so. Consider this an official invitation to see (and taste) one of our favorite spots in Downtown for yourself.
