It's no secret that we're smitten with Sun In My Belly. From the cozy atmosphere to the whimsical touches festooning the dining room, everything about this picture-perfect cafe exudes just the right amount of charm, friendliness and comfort that makes it such a quintessential neighborhood fixture. For years, Sun In My Belly held steady as our brunching destination of choice, but ever since they added dinner service to the roster, the cafe is just as perfect a place to catch up over a bottle of wine and burgers as it is for coffee and croissants. And thanks to a chef who's always looking for ways to pursue her culinary creativity, the seasonally changing menu packs plenty of delightful surprises, like this totally rad 80’s Breakfast Club Night. With Chef Alison L eker-Ritter’s touch, Sun in my Belly takes on some of the most classic dishes from the 80’s like potato skins, pasta carbonara, bread bowls, and more!
What's new on this menu? 80’s inspired comfort fare featuring the best of the season: think artichoke and parmesan bread bowl dip, or chicken and eggo waffles. The kitchen has also, much to our delight, a delicious pasta carbonara featuring bucatini noodles, anchovy, pepper flake butter, pancetta chips, green peas, pecorino romano and Vitals Farm egg yolk.
