What better way to christen the arrival of the cafe's new dinner service than with a handpicked bottle of vino?
When we first laid eyes on this repurposed Kirkwood hardware store turned charming brunch and lunch spot, we were smitten. Sun in my Belly's eclectic atmosphere and homespun gourmet cuisine has long been drawing in curious folks for brunch and lunch... and the occasional supperclub. So you can imagine the excitement that ensued in January when Max, Alison, and the SIMB gang opened for dinner service — a smashing success, by the way. And, as of this week, they've secured a shiny new liquor license! Now, SIMB is raising the bar and partnering with local wineries choosing monthly featured wines that compliment the delicious, crowd-pleasing supper-time menu. The initial pairings will be selected from Crane Creek Vineyards
, a family-run winery nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of north Georgia. From dry, crisp and citrus-y whites to lush, aromatic and complex reds, Crane Creek's wines will accentuate SIMB's most alluring and yummy menu items. And now, thanks to your VIP (a.k.a. Scoutmob) status, you have a chance to get in on these hand-selected wines for an amazing deal, without the long, winding drive.
It's the perfect addition to the cozy cafe's inspiring menu; a place where you can soak up all the neighborhood goodness of Kirkwood while noshing on miso-glazed salmon with couscous... all with a glass of refreshing white or bold red in hand. Our love for Sun in my Belly's brunch is endless, but the pairing of supper service and
a wine list brings our affection to a whole new level. And really, what better way to christen the arrival of savory dishes like wild mushroom ravioli, pepper seared beef tenderloin, or fried chicken than with a handpicked bottle of vino?
It's time to celebrate yet another monumental addition to Sun in my Belly. And we're more than glad to lead the toast.
