For our 6th annual Halloween bash, we’re taking it to the next level, literally. This year, we’re bringing a horde of haunting installations, interactions and performances from notable Atlanta artists to the 2nd floor of Ponce City Market. You can expect all things eerie and ethereal, such as an immersive Beetlejuice-esque light sculpture, a chapel of doom where the dead will wed, macabre fairground attractions, and a few extra surprises in our first ever VIP Late Night Lounge, hosted by The Mercury. Grab libations from Bulleit, Tito’s, and Wild Heaven, and prepare to get your shriek on.
Equal parts frightening, freakish and fantastic, our annual Halloween party is back for Year #6. In the grand tradition of Halloween parties past, we are once again setting up shop — a little shop of horrors, if you will — in an incredible historic space in Atlanta and stuffing it full of unique art and performance from some of the city's best creative talents. This year, we're taking over the 2nd floor of Ponce City Market (maybe you've heard of it?) the oh-so-beautifully restored Sears and Roebuck building nestled between Midtown and Old Fourth Ward.
This year’s artwork, curated and produced by Dashboard, will create a one-of-a-kind experience that is equal parts eerie and ethereal. An expansive Beetlejuice-esque infinity sculpture by artist Jason Peters will light up a dark corner, while across the way the dead will be bound in unholy matrimony inside our Chapel of Doom. Around from our Black Space screen and next to the Infinite Disco, you'll be able to immerse yourself in a trippy environment of light and movement created by Jane Cassidy. Step right up and win a terrifying teddy bear in our macabre fairground attractions, and then you can... ah, well, we can't give it all away, right? Needless to say, there are more sights and sounds and scenes to witness before the Witching Hour comes to an end.
In addition to the artwork and ambience, you can expect plenty of party. Your admission gets you 2 complimentary adult beverages from a menu that includes finely crafted Bulleit bourbon and Tito's handmade vodka cocktails, along with beer selections from Atlanta's very own Wild Heaven brewery. And due to the popularity of the late night dance party that wildly exploded last year, Chris Devoe is returning to DJ this year to get your feet tappin', your hands clappin', and your heads rollin'.
This year's party marks our first ever VIP experience. After enjoying a riotous amount of fiendish fun, VIP ticket holders can slip into our Late Night Lounge, hosted by The Mercury
. Just a slide over from the main party inside The Boiler Room, the Late Night Lounge will open up at 10 p.m. to offer a reprieve from all the ghoulish good times. While relaxing in the chic mid-century inspired decor, you'll be treated to an additional cocktail from an exclusive menu, along with a snack smorgasbord featuring tasty bites from The Mercury's menu (nothing like a prime rib slider to feed your beastly appetite). The Late Night Lounge will offer some exclusive experiences for the VIPers, including the shrine of Harold, The Infinite Fortune (by Atlanta artist Carl Janes) to procure a little luck for yourself. Our psychics and mystic seers will also be inside to read your fortune and peer into your future.
