Heritage Sandy Springs unveiled Rhythm and Brews in the summer of 2013 as a happy hour concert series to welcome the warm weather and highlight emerging regional musicians. Three years later, Rhythm and Brews now exists as a one-day, all-out celebration of local bands and local beers. Our VIP pass gets you access to the entire day of music and refreshments, as well as some special perks.
There’s no event that brings together local musicians and craft brewers together quite like Rhythm and Blues, and this year is no exception. Starting at 1 pm, guests can enjoy ice cold brews from a variety of Georgia beer makers, including Red Hare, Monday Night, Jekyll, Second Self, Reformation, and Urban Tree Cidery. Whether you’re a diehard IPA drinker or you like to keep it simple with a refreshing lager, this all-star lineup of craft breweries has got you covered. For when you work up an appetite, Rhythm and Brews will also play host to several local food trucks and restaurants, like The Muenster Truck and Slope’s BBQ, that will be serving up plenty of specialty fare.
With a beer in hand and a stomach full of food truck bites, attendees can then enjoy an afternoon packed with non-stop performances by southern musicians. The first act to take the outdoor stage will be the quirky and melodic Athens, GA singer-songwriter, Wrenn. She will be followed by the unique rock outfit, All the Locals, which Performer Magazine has described as “soul-food for the funk-pop mind.” The afternoon will be rounded out with performances by Atlanta-based Americana veterans, Sailing to Denver, groove-heavy and genre-bending, The Georgia Flood, and finally, the native Atlantan, roots rock’n’roll sister duo, Larkin Poe.
The best way to enjoy this coming together of local music and beer is with our exclusive VIP pass, which in addition to granting access to all of the vendors and live performances of the day, includes an air-conditioned VIP area with indoor restrooms and a covered veranda overlooking entertainment stage, private bar access, 4 complimentary beers, and a souvenir koozie.
Our dream scenario to celebrate spring in Atlanta is an all-day party featuring local music and beer. Thanks to Heritage Sandy Springs and Rhythm and Brews, that dream will become a reality on April 8, at the Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn. We know you don’t want to miss out on what’s bound to be the event of the season, so make the most of it with our exclusive VIP access.
