After working out of corporate gyms for several years, these two trainers eventually met and decided to strike out on their own. Five years ago they opened Polaris Performance Training, where their mission is to help anyone and everyone achieve their fitness goals in a supportive and friendly environment. Without the constraints of a parent gym, Ashley and Jordan have the freedom to extend sessions, use all the space and equipment they need, and create customized workout routines, meaning we – the trainees –get the benefits of a fitness program tailored specifically to our needs.
Named after the North Star, Polaris is meant to be a guiding light in the overwhelming world of fitness for people of all ages, abilities, and workout goals. At Polaris you won’t find the in-your-face methods you may have come to expect from a trainer. The team of trainers here is all about meeting people where they are, meaning they’re going to work towards your goals with you, through support and encouragement. At the end of the day, fitness should be fun – not scary – and the trainers at Polaris take that to heart.Fitness starts with knowing where you’re at and where you want to go. That’s why our handpicked entry into Polaris starts with a one-on-one fitness assessment with Ashley or Jordan. This will include complete body fat, muscle mass, and heart rate measurements, as well as a diet evaluation and an in-depth discussion of your specific fitness goals. From there you’ll embark on three customized personal training sessions in Polaris’ state of the art workout facility. We won’t lie, it’s gonna be hard work. But at Polaris, you’ll have a teammate with you every step of the way, and that’s a workout we can excited about.
