Be the Wave: Poke Bowls and Drinks for Two at Poke Burri
If you have been even somewhat conscious of the food scene as of late, then you know one of the hottest waves already: the poke bowl! And in ATL Poke Burri of EAV has been steady leading that wave. So quit being a slow-”poke” (stop, you know we had to make that joke…) and come see what all the fuss is about!
What To Expect
- 2 Poke Bowls of your choice (Excluding the Super Bowl)
- 2 drinks of your choice
- An authentic dining experience to cut the monotony!
Poke Burri is located in the famed We Suki Suki Global Grub Collective of East Atlanta Village. Typical of all the venues in this food market, Poke Burri has that special hole in wall authenticity that would be perfect for your favorite international traveling food television show host. For us though, what separates Poke Burri from the rest is the freshness served at their counter, and we ain’t just talkin’ about their fresh vibes either.
What started as Hawaii’s answer to deconstructed sushi, these bowls of sushi grade fish laid on a bed of rice and veggie healthiness has quickly turned into the mainland’s new go-to for meal time fun. And Poke Burri has become our favorite poke ambassador in ATL. Their salmon poke bowl comes on a bed of pickled ginger, cabbage, carrots, beets, cucumber, edamame, avocado, spicy mayo, and seaweed. Be honest, those are like all the healthy foods you have ever heard in your life. What is even crazier is that these poke bowls are somehow tastier than they are healthy.
However, there is a carefully curated menu to choose from at Poke Burri. We recommend starting with the salmon poke bowl, but everything here is delicious. And there is talk of a secret menu too…. The purveyors of this joint have made mention that if asked proper, a bowl of poke nachos can even be made available too. Remember, they are poke-bowls, not poke-mon. So need to need to feel like you have to have them all on the first visit. We certainly have enjoyed the excuse for repeat visits!
