The Red Clay Comedy Festival is held each September in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2015 by comedians Gilbert Lawand and Michael Albanese, Red Clay brings the best national and local talent to some of the most unique venues in the city.
Red Clay is held in several non-traditional comedy venues, giving audiences and comedians the chance to experience comedy in a more intimate environment. Red Clay has been home to some of the best comedy performances in Atlanta, including RORY SCOVEL'S NETFLIX special, which was filmed at the festival in 2016.
On September 28th-30th, Red Clay returns to the historic East Atlanta Village neighborhood. This neighborhood is known for its funky vibe and walkability. Each festival venue is within a 2 block radius, so you’ll find it easy to walk from show to show throughout the weekend. For us Hand-Pickers, we have access to VIP priority seating and an EXCLUSIVE break on the ticket price- $20 for us and $25 for the schmucks at the door! Choose between the hilarious Janeane Garofalo

Red Clay has built a reputation as one of the most fun and exciting comedy festivals in the country and we are excited to continue bringing top notch comedy to Atlanta for years to come!
