Flora/Fauna of Cabbagetown is every green thumb’s dream. Create your own Kokedama to take home in a fun and social environment!
The term “urban jungle” really comes to fruition upon stepping through the doors at Flora/Fauna
. Owners, Katelynn Corley and Rex Holloway, are true green thumbs and have a knack for plant care and specialize in interior plant design.
Looking to expand your plant family? Katelynn and Rex are hosting a special workshop where you can make your own Kokedama (which we totally had to Google what a Kokedama is, but rest assured, it's really cool). A Kokedama is a form of Japanese garden art that suspends from a string or gets nestled in a suspended container. Still unsure? Maybe the free mimosa will help seal the deal!
Put your green thumb to the test with this earthy workshop. Even if you have a brown thumb, Kokedamas are easy to take care of (but we’ll leave the care-tips to the experts). Turn your house or apartment into an urban jungle with help from Flora/Fauna!
