With $87,000 raised by the Grant Park Conservancy at the 2016 event, the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival will once again welcome music and art lovers to Atlanta’s oldest park for two days of nonstop fun on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, 2017. Presented by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the festival will once again feature an impressive lineup of live music throughout the weekend on two stages in addition to an expansive artist market, Kids Zone, 5K run, and a dedicated VIP area courtesy of the Beacon Atlanta. Open to all ages and free to attend, the 15th Annual Summer Shade Festival will also have a diverse selection of local food trucks with offerings for all tastes, Monday Night Brewing craft beer, Bold Rock Cider, and Frida Khalo Tequila and Status Vodka cocktails and more.
And now you can experience this year’s Summer Shade Festival from the exclusive VIP Lounge, which includes a private pavilion with exclusive foodie goodness from some of the best that ATL has to offer. As if that weren’t enticing enough, you’ll also enjoy private air-conditioned restrooms (give a wave to those sad souls waiting in line for a porta-potty), misting stations to cool down from that summer heat, lounge seating—VIPs do not sit on the ground—and a souvenir cup and more. All proceeds from the VIP Lounge and the Summer Shade Festival go directly to the Grant Park Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enhancement of Grant Park.
