First Look: Exhale Core Fusion Fitness in Inman Park
We thought Inman Park couldn’t get any better, but then exhale came along. Core Fusion fitness classes are not only fun- they’re tough workouts that leave our glutes (and spirits) lifted.
What To Expect
- Three-class package to experience any Core Fusion classes once the studio opens to the public
- exhale bottled water to stay hydrated during your three classes
- Access to free Core Fusion preview classes before exhale opens to the public
- $10 boutique shopping credit to spend on workout wear that makes you look as good as you feel
If Inman Park got any hotter, it would melt. And we're not talking about summer heat either- which, thankfully is beginning to wane. We’re talking about the Beltline, Krog St. Market, and the newest development, Inman Quarter, which is home to MF Sushi, one of our favorite purveyors of local Atlanta artisanal products, Made Again, and the future home of a Ford Fry restaurant concept. And we guess it’s about to go completely nuclear because Exhale is opening a boutique fitness studio on the ground floor, where they’re pumping us up with Core Fusion, their brand of core fitness classes. Scouts get a first look with a three-class package, plus bottled water to keep you hydrated and a $10 credit for stylish athletic wear found in the boutique. And did we mention you get access to preview classes (going on now) before the studio opens to the public?
So what’s all this talk about Core Fusion? It’s a heart-pumping, soul-seeking, energy-inducing fitness program that focuses on core strength - the most important of the strengths, in our opinion. Using weights, balls, bands, and your own body weight as resistance, Core Fusion will make you sweat, shake and melt the fat away, and lengthen and tone at the same time. Everyone knows exercise is good for us, what with the mental benefits and all - Core Fusion revives and refocuses our minds too. The class offerings at Exhale Inman Park are making us sweat just thinking about them. Core Fusion Barre, their signature full-body workout is a ballet-inspired, core-centric class with isolated exercises that work on alignment, flexibility and posture, and then it's all topped off with a deep, relaxing stretch. Core Fusion Barre + Cardio is some of the same butt-lifting, muscle toning work in the regular barre class, but with 30 minutes of sweaty sprints with short recovery periods. Core Fusion Extreme is for the Scouts who want the most bang for their buck- it’s high intensity work followed by brief moments of active recovery. You’ll use heavy hand weights, a plyo box, suspension training, cardio explosions and intense core work, and finish it up with stretching. And for those seeking their om, Core Fusion Yoga fuses flow yoga with intense core work- sun-salutations and warrior poses are woven with sequences of isolated thigh, arm and ab work as you build the heat, then reward yourself with a cooling savasana finish. We don’t know anyone who doesn’t love a deep savasana. Toned muscles and strong core, thy name is Core Fusion.
