Let your philanthropic side out to party with Eats and Beats’ open bar, unlimited food and live music to benefit two great causes: Children of Conservation and The Giving Kitchen.
The 6th Annual Eats and Beats is back! Atlanta’s best restaurants, Georgia’s own Whiskey Gentry and your favorite beverage purveyors join forces to bring you an unforgettable evening of unlimited food, open bars, live entertainment and unique silent auction items at West Midtown’s hottest new event space “The Fairmont.” Over 35 great restaurants serve up great dishes while several open bars quench your thirst with a great mixed drink, glass of wine or your favorite craft or specialty beer. Proceeds benefit two wonderful charitable causes: Children of Conservation
and The Giving Kitchen
If you’re unfamiliar with the causes, here’s a quick synopsis: Children of Conservation is a 501(c)(3) that empowers African villagers through conservation. Proceeds from Eats & Beats will help build a much-needed health clinic and school for a fishing village in Uganda that helps to protect chimpanzees by providing park rangers, food, and volunteer support. The organization’s main project provides educational scholarships for children of wildlife sanctuary workers in Africa. More information is available on their website, www.childrenofconservation.org. The Giving Kitchen is a local nonprofit dedicated to providing emergency funds for those in the restaurant industry with emergency medical needs. More information is available on their website, www.thegivingkitchen.org.
So good people will be getting the proceeds, but here’s what your ticket gets you: open bar access for the evening, live entertainment, and unlimited food prepared by local restaurants including the likes of Barcelona, Local Three, Eclipse di Luna, Davios and more! Who knew doing good could be so much fun?
