The foodie movement has become synonymous with going out to a nice dinner or making some elaborate meal in the confines of your home kitchen, but this year, we challenge you to enjoy what has been a brand new game-changer for us: locally made, professional chef grade meals delivered straight to your front door!
We’ve teamed up with Cooker, Atlanta’s very own locally sourced meal delivery service to help you taste the best of our local chefs. And they mean local
- A peek at their website shows the long list of suppliers they work with, all from our fare city to ensure you never lose that lovely local feeling. We are scoring big this spring too because they’re delivering all these menu items fresh to our front steps. And it also ensures you don’t waste a thing- instead of delivering a whole shebang of arugula, they deliver delish chef made meals direct to your kitchen (or couch).
So let’s talk about the pro grade meals
you will be enjoying from the comforts of home. First up, the menu changes weekly. So you will always have an excuse to check back in with the Cooker site to see what new tasty treats are available. One of our recent favorites is the Hawaiian Salmon Poke Bowl. This meal is a traditional Hawaiian dish with fresh salmon, lettuce, carrots, cabbage, cucumber, avocado, edamame, beets, furikake, radish sprouts, seaweed, eel sauce, spicy mayo, and pickled ginger, and is made by Atlanta’s Poke Burri, our favorite of the foodie-famous We Suki Suki collective in East Atlanta Village. Next comes the Moroccan Chicken Tanjiya over Couscous- mouth-watering chicken simmered with cumin, preserved lemons, garlic, and black pepper prepared by Marrakech Express. Never fear vegetarians, you can show your love with a veggie option as well. But everyone knows the star of any meal is dessert. That’s why we are still talking about the Rosemary Chocolate Chip Cookie offered on Cooker courtesy of Occasional Occasions by Carlton.
